Welcome to India Reels. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website (india-reels.com), mobile applications, and related services. Please read them carefully — they're shorter than your average Bollywood script, we promise.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using India Reels (the platform, website india-reels.com, or any official mobile app) you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and at least 18 years old to enter into legally binding agreements (e.g. Creator Fund payouts, brand collaborations). By signing up you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Any activity under your account is your responsibility. Tell us immediately at security@india-reels.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
4. Content Guidelines
You may not upload content that: (a) is illegal under Indian law; (b) infringes copyright, trademark or any IP rights; (c) contains hate speech, harassment, or incites violence; (d) sexualizes minors; (e) promotes self-harm, drug abuse, or terrorism; (f) is spam or misleading. We use a combination of automated systems and human review to enforce these rules.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you upload. By uploading, you grant India Reels a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical optimization), publicly display and distribute your content on the platform. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload.
6. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on India Reels infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to copyright@india-reels.com with: (a) your contact info; (b) description of the copyrighted work; (c) URL of the infringing content; (d) statement of good-faith belief; (e) signature. We respond to valid notices within 7 business days.
7. Creator Fund & Monetization
Eligible creators (10K+ followers, 100K+ monthly views, India residents 18+, KYC verified) may participate in the India Reels Creator Fund. Payouts are made monthly via UPI/bank transfer in INR, subject to TDS as per Indian tax law. Full Creator Fund terms are published separately at india-reels.com/creator-fund.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: scrape the platform, use bots to inflate engagement, impersonate others, sell or transfer your account, attempt to reverse-engineer our systems, or use the platform to distribute malware. Violations can lead to account termination and legal action.
9. Termination
You may delete your account anytime from app Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where possible. Upon termination, your content may be removed from public view; backups may persist for up to 90 days for legal/security purposes.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
India Reels is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or 100% secure. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, India Reels Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed ₹10,000 or the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is higher.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
13. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified via in-app banner and email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
